End of Summer...Moving into Fall!

I cannot believe that Summer is over and we are now officially in the Fall season! I have to say, that after the month long streak of HOT weather...the cool cozy weather is a nice change! The Summer seemed to fly by and we did a lot of fun things! August was a busy month which included a visit to Spokane for Ryan's 10 year reunion and his cousin Heidi's wedding. We were able to head over a bit early and had a lot of time to spend with the whole family and just relax at Nana Linda & Greg's "resort" :) It was a fun trip!
We also took a fun trip to the coast at Seaside with our good friends Amanda & Justin and their daughter Ellie. The girls enjoyed the ocean and we could not have picked a better weekend to go, the weather was perfect! I think we are going to make an annual family trip out of it! :)
We spent Labor Day weekend at Lake Tapps as we do every year and it was a ton of fun as usual! It was a little extra special this year because we also celebrated Blayne's 1st Birthday! The weather was wonderful and we had a really great weekend just enjoying time with family & friends and spending it at the lake is always nice :)
Also in September, Ryan went on his annual guys golf trip to Alta Lake...he had to miss out last year because Blayne was due any time! He enjoyed the 2 rounds of golf per day that they seem to think is a good time :) It is a fun trip that he really looks forward to and it's a good way to wrap up the golf season...or "wind down" the season I should say!
Just last weekend we celebrated Kaylin's Grandma Dolly's 90th Birthday and also had Blayne baptized at the Catholic church in Black Diamond, WA. It was a big weekend and I think the Baptism was the best gift that Grandma could have asked for :) My sister Kelsey & her husband Ryan also had their two kids Baptized at the same time, so it was nice that would could have them done all together.
All in all we had a wonderful Summer and we already have some fun things planned coming up this fall and winter. The holidays should be really fun this year with Blayne, looking forward to it!
