3 Months Old!

Our little munchkin is now 3 months old and growing, growing, growing! She is now around 11 pounds and it gets harder to believe every day that she was just 4 pounds when she was born! She is smiling a ton and talking to us, nothing is cuter than when she recognizes us and gets the hugest smile on her face :) She loves playing on her playmat and looking at all the little toys on there, she is also liking watching sports with her Dad...Mom is in trouble! We are so excited for our first Christmas together as a little family & hope that all of you have a very happy holidays too!

2 Months Old...

We cannot believe that Blayne is already 2 months old! Considering the fact that she should only be 3 weeks old if she had been born on her due date! She is doing so great and gets more fun every day. She is now weighing around 8 pounds which is double her birth weight, she still seems tiny but is growing so fast!

Blayne's Newborn Pics

We had Blayne's newborn pictures taken when she was 5 weeks old. They turned out so cute, it is hard to pick just one as a favorite! Here are just a few...

Baby Blayne Has Arrived!

What a crazy couple of weeks we have had! On September 9th I recieved a call from my from my doctor letting me know that we needed to get to the hospital ASAP because we were likely going to be having our baby in the next 24 hours! Ummm, a little shocking to hear when you are not expecting your baby for another next 5 weeks! I had my regular docotor's appointment on the 8th and she had some concerns that I had signs of preeclampsia...sure enough when she got my blood work back that is what was happening so the best decision for everyone was to get Blayne out because both mine & her health would only get worse if she stayed in there. We were very scared and shocked, but thankfully everything worked out just fine!

Blayne Marie Harris was born at 12:38am on September 11th. She weighed a tiny 4lbs and was 18 inches long. We are SO lucky that she is very healthy and doing so great! She spent 10 days in the NICU where they took great care of her, now she is home with us and we are loving every minute of being new parents! :) Even though she arrived a little ahead of schedule, everything worked out for the best and we are so blessed to have her here!
